About

'I will protect you at all costs...' Once in the Joseon Dynasty... there lived Lady Belki of the Bel family, and with her was Commander Yu Gisa of the Royal Guard. The two spent all four seasons together. In spring, they played in flower fields; in summer, they lay in the lush grass; in autumn, they played with fallen leaves; and in winter, they built snowmen together. But they could not welcome the next spring together. In late December, the Kim family, who had always been jealous of the Bel family, took advantage of a moment when Belki was alone to kill her and flee. Yu Gisa, receiving the news too late, rushed to the scene only to find a shattered cup and blood everywhere. Honor, power—the Bel family vanished entirely. Consumed by guilt, Yu Gisa spent a year alone through the four seasons. He wanted to be with her... and in his guilt and longing, he took his own life. And now, they meet again at school...?
