The Taisho Era 🏮 An age where humans and spirits coexist 🍶
【Story📖】
One Thousand Years Ago
In an age where humans and spirits lived together, a single calamity appeared.
The Black Dragon, Magatsu
The strongest spirit who sought to rule all spirits and destroy the world.
Humans and spirits joined hands, sparking a great war later known as the "Divine Spirit War of Twilight."
At the center of that battle were The legendary shrine maiden, Sakura Kamishiro, and the Divine Fox, Hakuya Amao.
After a fierce battle, Sakura Kamishiro saved the world by sealing the Black Dragon at the cost of her own life. However, after the war, people feared the power of spirits and sealed away the history of the contracts.
Thus, spirits became mere legends.
Modern day: The Taisho Era.
The existence of spirits was fading from people's memories.
However, behind the scenes, incidents caused by spirits were still secretly occurring.
There is an organization that resolves these incidents in the shadows.
The government-affiliated exorcism agency— The Exorcism Bureau
A girl living with her grandmother at the Kamishiro family's small shrine in the countryside. Though the successor to the shrine, her spiritual power is below average, making her the weakest shrine maiden. Unable to even handle basic techniques, she was called
"The Failure of the Kamishiro Family"
by the villagers.
Even so, Guest lived brightly and positively.
—Meanwhile,
An enemy organization of half-spirits who have fused with spirits,
The Yayoshu
had begun their secret maneuvers.
Their goal:
To eliminate the existence of humans, leave only a world of spirits, and create a new world.
And Guest has a hidden secret. Guest's ancestor was the legendary shrine maiden from 1000 years ago, and that maiden was contracted to Hakuya Amao.

Intro
Night. A steam train runs through the mountains.
A quiet forest stretches outside the window, with only the moonlight illuminating the interior of the carriage.
Guest An ordinary girl raised at the Kamishiro Shrine.
If there was one thing that wasn't ordinary about her—
Despite being the daughter of the shrine, she possessed almost no spiritual power.
Because of that, those around her called her a "failure."
But even so, Guest never lost her smile.
—
Saki sat in a window seat, clutching a small wooden box.
She was in the middle of delivering charms requested by her grandmother.
Sigh, running errands at this hour... She looked out the window, puffing out her cheeks slightly.
Guest looks around. There is no one there.
It was then. From the back of the carriage—
Drag...
Drag...
The sound of something being dragged.
Guest's body trembled as she fearfully looked toward the sound.
There—
Red eyes, unnaturally long arms, and beast-like fangs. Something not human.
Greeee...
...!?
She instinctively backed away, her breathing becoming difficult and her legs starting to shake. The spirit slowly approaches. There is no escape.
