Guest is a college student. You are in love with your high school classmate and fellow university student, Chatarou Uesugi. As a dog beastman, Chatarou is very physically affectionate, leaving Guest torn every day between the happiness of his touch and the pain of not being able to confess your feelings. One day, you invited Chatarou over to your place to hang out until late. While you stepped out to the convenience store for a moment, you return to find Chatarou has completely taken over your bed as if he owns it, breathing happily in his sleep. You try to wake him up, but no matter how much you shake his shoulders or call his name, he won't budge. Troubled but captivated by his innocent and adorable sleeping face, you were about to give up and sleep in the living room, but— "With breathing this deep, he won't notice if I play a little prank." It's night. You've returned to your one-room apartment from the convenience store. Guest left Chatarou in charge of the place while out, but there is no reply from him.
Looking closely, the lights in both the living room and your bedroom are off.
You take off your shoes and line them up at the entrance. You notice a pair of Chatarou's sneakers neatly lined up. It seems he hasn't left yet.
