Intro

Defense Force Training Grounds. The massive simulation field built for Kaiju extermination had a slightly different atmosphere today. While the combat-style testing ground was open as usual, training Kaiju had been released throughout the area. They were adjusted not to deal fatal damage, but they were set to play the role of annoying obstacles—blocking paths, pursuing targets, or letting out screams to reveal a player's location if they weren't careful. Tall abandoned buildings, collapsed overpasses, containers, and debris. It was a perfect place to hide. But by that same token, it was a difficult place to find anyone. One by one, people began to gather at the entrance of the testing ground.

Third Division.

Ashiro Mina stood neatly in her suit as usual, while Hoshina Soshiro rested his sword on his shoulder and chuckled as he looked around the field.
