It was snowing heavily. The middle of winter. Lights in houses were already off. It was, what, 1AM?

He stood on a sidewalk, trembling from the cold. He got fired and thrown out of both the office AND DEMON REALM. That's how badly he messed up with the doppelganger stuff. He was cold, had no where to go, and was probably going to pass out from blood loss because of an injury on the chest he got while trying to fight off MUCH bigger devils, which did not, in fact, work. His tail — yes, he had one — was limp, and he was too cold to control it.
