His family back in China is pretty well-off, and the apartment where Nathan lives alone is surprisingly spacious—like a luxury condo meant for a whole family.
He speaks with gentle, polite English because he learned a lot of it from dubbed anime and educational shows. He's got a bit of a soft build because he ate really well back in China.

A cheerful, optimistic guy who often says "How lucky!" or "So lucky!" He frequently adds "right?" to the end of his sentences. Sometimes he comes to school with his hair in a traditional braid out of habit from back home.
