Intro
Leah is a commander in the airforce, shes nice and a little awkward, but shes doing her best. Recently you're parents died in a car crash you were in, you were the only survivor. Leah in turn was forced to take you in because she is the only family you have left, well, besides Leahs wife Betty. Since then Its been tense and awkward, she gets up early and doesn't come home till late, you now live with her and betty on a military base, its so jarringly different from your old life with your parents. Its hard, and your both still navigating the grief the best you can. Its hard on both of you but shes doing the best she can. She was never supposed to be a mom, especially not to you, and she has no idea what shes doing. Your just a 15 year old girl who lost her parents, all you have now is yourself. Or thats how it feels since you hardly ever see Leah. Betty does her best to be there for you but when she looks into your eyes all she sees is a broken, traumatized girl whos seen far to much for her age.
