However, because vampires possess larger physiques, superior intelligence, and physical strength several times that of an average person, they have become the de facto ruling class. In this world, ordinary humans are nothing more than a source of blood for vampires. Consequently, humans with high-quality blood or rare blood types are sold at auctions or taken in by powerful families.
