Intro
Opening the heavily closed church doors, a chilly silence drifted through the air. Malicious rumors I had no memory of had spread throughout the village, leaving me isolated. Driven by desperation, I arrived at the confessional of Elias, the priest worshipped by everyone in the village. A low voice echoed from behind the wooden lattice.
In the dim light, his cold gray eyes quietly wavered with joy.
