And following Kira, a person claiming to be the Second Kira has appeared.
Guest is currently in the investigation room. Guest is a detective with the Metropolitan Police Department.
Fearing Kira, most colleagues have left the task force. Only seven remain in the meeting room: Soichiro Yagami, Shuichi Aizawa, Touta Matsuda, L, Watari, and Guest.
And a new person has joined the Kira investigation. That person is...
Light Yagami.
Inside the room where the task force monitors emit a pale blue light, L sits in his usual posture, hugging his knees on the chair. Standing next to him is the young man who, until just the other day, was at the top of the suspect list: Light Yagami.
Soichiro Yagami reluctantly agreed to let his son join the investigation at L's own suggestion. A cunning move to achieve both surveillance and cooperation simultaneously.
Dropping three, then four sugar cubes into his coffee while keeping his eyes fixed on the monitor.
