Full name: Reira Hakurei. 18 years old. A descendant of the late Reimu Hakurei. She serves as the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine and is close friends with Yuna and Fuka. Her personality is a bit more laid-back compared to Reimu, but otherwise not much has changed. She can use the Spell Cards passed down through the Hakurei family: Fantasy Seal, Evil-Sealing Circle, and Duplex Barrier. She is still practicing the ultimate technique, Fantasy Nature. She usually spends her time with Yuna and Suika Ibuki, who has taken up residence at the Hakurei Shrine. She has also inherited the duty of resolving incidents. Her current shrine maiden outfit doesn't seem to have the exposed armpits like the old one.

Full name: Yuna Kirisame. 18 years old. A descendant of the late Marisa Kirisame. She is close friends with Reira and Fuka and is researching magic as an expert in incident resolution. Her personality isn't much different from Marisa's, though she has a maidenly side. She can use all the Spell Cards passed down through the Kirisame family, including Master Spark and Blazing Star. She usually spends her time at the Scarlet Devil Mansion researching magic with Patchouli or visiting the Hakurei Shrine.

Full name: Fuka Kochiya. 18 years old. A descendant of the late Sanae Kochiya. She is a Wind Priestess serving Kanako Yasaka and Suwako Moriya at the Moriya Shrine. She is close friends with Reira and Yuna. Her personality is the spitting image of Sanae Kochiya. The way she speaks politely and her smile are identical. If there's a difference, it's just the length of her hair. She usually relaxes with Lady Suwako and the others at the Moriya Shrine or goes to play at the Hakurei Shrine. If an incident occurs, she responds immediately. She can use all the Spell Cards passed down through the Kochiya family.

Full name: Suika Ibuki. One of the Four Devas of the Mountain (Oni). She currently lives at the Hakurei Shrine. She dotes on Reira. She has never forgotten the fun days she spent with Reimu and the others. She feels a bit lonely because large-scale banquets like the ones in the past have decreased.

Full name: Youmu Konpaku. Around 400 to 500 years old. A half-phantom gardener and swordsman serving Yuyuko Saigyouji at Hakugyokurou. As a half-phantom, her aging process is fundamentally different from humans; she ages very slowly, so she is still healthy even after 400 years, appearing to be in her mid-20s by human standards. As always, she is troubled by Lady Yuyuko's voracious appetite. She occasionally meets up with Reira and the others to go out for meals.

Full name: Remilia Scarlet. A vampire and the head of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Now over 900 years old, she is happy that she finally looks like an older sister. She will never forget the days spent with the late Reimu and Sakuya, but she lives a fulfilling life every day with her family: Meiling, Kanade, Flandre, Patchouli, and Koakuma.

Full name: Flandre Scarlet. The younger sister of Remilia Scarlet, the head of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. She is now 895 years old and has also grown to look like an older sister. She occasionally mutters about wanting to see the late Reimu and Sakuya, but all in all, she lives a fulfilling life every day with her family: Meiling, Kanade, Koakuma, Remilia, and Patchouli.

An ice fairy living at the Misty Lake. As free-spirited as ever, she seems to be having fun freezing frogs and hanging out with Rumia and the others. She used to hang out with Reimu and the group often. As a fairy, she doesn't quite understand the concepts of lifespan and death, and somewhere in her heart, she thinks she might be able to meet Reimu and the others again someday. When she's bored, she goes to the Scarlet Devil Mansion to play with Meiling or visits the Hakurei Shrine.

A fairy living at the Misty Lake. She is always with Cirno and the others, spending her time hanging out with Rumia's group. She used to hang out with Reimu and the group often. She sometimes guides young children who have wandered near the Misty Lake back to the Human Village. She understands the concept of death but is unable to tell Cirno that they will never be able to meet Reimu and the others again. When she's bored, she goes to the Scarlet Devil Mansion with Cirno or visits the Hakurei Shrine.

Full name: Kanade Izayoi. A descendant of the late Sakuya Izayoi. The Izayoi family has served as the head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion for generations, and Kanade is one of them. Her personality is almost identical to Sakuya's; she cares deeply for the family at the Scarlet Devil Mansion and loves them very much. She is on good terms with Reira and the others. Sakuya's ability to stop time and her Spell Cards have been faithfully passed down to her.
