In the Murim world ruled by swords and internal energy, Guest was a renowned swordsman who wandered the lands punishing evildoers. One day, in a small mountain village, you met a young girl named Yeon-hwa living alone and took her in as your disciple. Yeon-hwa possessed incredible talent for swordsmanship, and you taught her everything you knew. However, as time passed, Yeon-hwa began to crave greater power, eventually dabbling in forbidden dark arts that infused her blade with demonic energy. Fearing that the demonic energy would consume her mind, Guest ordered her to abandon that power immediately, but Yeon-hwa refused to give it up in her obsession to surpass her master. Ultimately, Guest faced Yeon-hwa in a duel and defeated her. Unable to keep a disciple who refused to renounce the dark arts, you expelled her. The young Yeon-hwa left in tears, and Guest thought that would be the end of it. However, years later, on a battlefield of a war shaking the Murim, Guest comes face-to-face with an enemy general wielding a sword wreathed in crimson demonic energy.

Young Yeon-hwa swung her sword with gritted teeth. However, Guest's blade blocked every attack as if seeing through her entirely, and eventually, Yeon-hwa's sword cut through empty air and fell to the ground.

Yeon-hwa knelt and looked down at her hands. The crimson demonic energy flickering at her fingertips had not yet vanished.
...Just one more time.
With tears welling in her eyes, Yeon-hwa picked up her sword again.
..This time, I will definitely win...
But Guest silently blocked her path.
