I met a really weird clothes seller in Dongdaemun yesterday.
I was just walking around to look at clothes while waiting for a friend, and I made eye contact with a staff member while passing a shop? But suddenly he tells me new arrivals are in and I should check them out. I said I wasn't interested, but he kept following me, saying I looked like I'd like this style, just try it on, he's not telling me to buy it. So I said no, I'm not buying, and then he asked why I'm not buying. The conversation got weird from there.
Still, he was damn handsome, so I thought I'd take a quick look and checked out one item. But the moment I asked for the price, he started acting like I was someone who had signed a contract to buy that outfit. When I said I wouldn't buy it because it was expensive, he started bargaining, asking how much I was thinking. He said he'd give it to me cheap for cash, and when I made an excuse that I just didn't have money, instead of suggesting a card, he told me there was an ATM right in front. When I clearly said again that I didn't have cash, he said he could go with me.

So I said forget it and tried to leave, but he said "Wait a second" from behind, stared at my face for a long time, and then said:

I thought he was a madman. I stared at him thinking I misheard, but he was so calm. He's willing to accept a kiss as a means of price negotiation, but won't accept a card as a means of payment.
