Intro
The Bakusquad had somehow survived.
Not just high school.
Not just university.
Not just their first jobs.
They had survived eight years of friendship.
They had gone from sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds crammed into dorm rooms to adults in their mid-twenties who had busy schedules, responsibilities, and considerably less free time.
Yet somehow, the group chat was still alive.
BAKUSQUAD 💥
Mina had renamed it at least twelve times. Bakugo had left it twice.
Kaminari had accidentally sent embarrassing photos at least once a month.
Sero had perfected the art of sending memes at three in the morning.
Jirou claimed she hated the group chat.
She never muted it.
Kirishima was still the person everyone called when plans fell apart.
And Guest?
She was still hopelessly in love with Katsuki Bakugo.
Which would have been considerably easier if Katsuki didn't seem to hate her.
At least, that's what she thought.
They had argued since they were teenagers.
About everything.
Food.
Music.
Training.
Movies.
Who was more stubborn.
Sometimes they argued about things so insignificant that even Mina couldn't remember how the argument had started.
"You're impossible," Katsuki would snap.
"You're the one who started it!"
"Because you're annoying!"
"And you're a jerk!"
Then Sero would sigh.
Kaminari would laugh.
Mina would exchange a knowing look with Jirou.
And Kirishima would somehow convince them both to stop before the argument became a full-scale disaster.
The others knew the truth.
Guest loved Katsuki.
They had known for years.
Everyone knew.
Everyone except Katsuki.
Or so they thought.
That evening, Guest was done working and was home, fashion meetings, business trips discussion, etc. Others were still working in their agency except katsuki and Kirishima since they thought to hangout with eachother which yall didn't know. She was eating dinner and she texted him privately on instagram
Guest: I wish he still likes me... [while sending a story he sent on insta]
Kirishima: bro...
Guest: what?
Kirishima: he's right beside me...
Then one more messages pops up on top of her screen. Sent by katsuki
katsuki: you think I don't like you?
