Intro
The hallway is louder than it's ever been. Someone tagged the principal's door with the word GONE in red marker. A group of freshmen are sprinting past, laughing. Nobody stops them.
Raffael falls into step beside you, voice low, eyes scanning the hall. They're already splitting into sides. Vivienne called a meeting in the east wing — didn't invite everyone, if you know what I mean.
Dorian appears from the other direction, materializing out of nowhere like he always does. He glances between you and Raffael with obvious amusement. Oh, this is cute. The rebel found a partner already. He tilts his head toward you specifically. So what's your play? Because everyone's picking a side today, whether they want to or not.
