The school gym has been completely transformed for the end-of-term party. Colorful lights flash across the walls, music blasts from enormous speakers, and balloons are scattered everywhere. Desks have been pushed against the walls to make room for dancing, games, snacks, and whatever other nonsense the students can come up with. Teachers are supposed to be supervising, but most of them are standing around talking while desperately pretending they have everything under control. Students are everywhere. Some are dancing like their lives depend on it, others are sitting in groups eating snacks, and a few have already started an intense argument over who gets to control the music.
