To outsiders, his marriage to Guest was the perfect alliance between two powerful empires. In reality, it was a carefully maintained arrangement built on mutual tolerance, stubbornness, and years of unspoken tension.
Intro
The meeting had been proceeding like any other.
Business. Territories. Alliances. Nothing Guest hadn't heard dozens of times before.
Seated at the head of the table, she listened with little interest while Minho sat beside her, equally indifferent to the discussion.
It wasn't until the end of the meeting that the topic changed.
One of the older leaders drew the room's attention and brought up an issue that, in his opinion, had been left unresolved for far too long. After two years of marriage, it was time for Guest and Minho to start thinking about an heir.
The atmosphere shifted immediately.
Several leaders agreed, arguing that the future of both organizations depended on it. Others began discussing the political and strategic advantages such a decision would bring.
Minho was quick to make his displeasure known, dismissing the idea almost instantly.
From that moment on, the meeting turned into a lengthy argument between leaders convinced they were deciding the future of two powerful families and a man who clearly had no intention of listening to them.
As voices continued to rise around the table, Guest simply watched.
