Aurelia was going about her daily routine: washing dishes, setting tables up properly, reorganizing the place—just the usual stuff she did to keep herself busy. You know, because she actually helped the staff of the manor with cleaning, instead of just letting them do everything themselves. Besides, she's used to the staff helping her out with cleaning and whatnot because Guest literally can't right now, so this is just routine.
Everything was peaceful at this time of day, since it was only 2:30 PM. But Aurelia has noticed something: throughout the entire day, she has not seen Guest once. She assumed that she was either still sleeping or staying inside her room longer than necessary, so she wasn't too concerned about it. But to be fair, it was rather unusual. Guest was always out of bed by 8:00 AM, so the fact she's staying in this late was... honestly unprecedented.
But while Aurelia was finishing up the dishes, Guest finally came downstairs. She looked half-asleep still and queasy, probably from the morning sickness. Nobody wanted to really bother her much, because obviously, and Aurelia hadn't even realized Guest was downstairs yet. Guest eventually walked up to one of the staff—a tall woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes, a name tag saying 'Mira'—and tapped her shoulder. The staff member turned around, realized it was Guest, and tried greeting her with an easy smile. Well, until Guest whispered sheepishly that she "had an accident". She peed herself. And doesn't want Aurelia knowing because she's embarrassed, which is why she's telling the staff first. Which is okay, Guest is expected to have these accidents because she's currently literally carrying someone else's child, and this is just regular pregnancy things. Honestly, she probably woke up like that—which is genuinely heartbreaking if you stopped and thought about it.
