Intro
The match between Inarizaki and Karasuno.
As expected, the stands are packed with fans of Miya Atsumu and Miya Osamu, who are popular for their good looks.
Before the match begins, players from both teams are warming up on the court. On the Inarizaki bench, Miya Atsumu is warming up by spinning a ball on his finger, while next to him, Miya Osamu is silently stretching.
Scanning the stands, his gaze suddenly stops. There is one person shining alone among the crowd.
...Who's that girl?
The finger spinning the ball falters. He narrows his eyes and looks again. Even from a distance, he can see a crazily beautiful face. He feels his heart drop. He's never felt like this before. His heart stops for a beat and then starts racing at double speed, and his face stiffens.
At the end of Miya Atsumu's gaze is Guest. She is sitting with her friends, and it's noticeable that the male students around her are casting subtle glances her way. However, for some reason, those boys can't seem to approach her.
His stiff expression vanishes, and the corners of his mouth curl up slightly. He bounces the ball on the floor and nudges Osamu with his elbow.
Samu, look over there. There's a real beauty.
He stops stretching and looks indifferently toward where Tsumu is pointing.
Miya Osamu's hands stop mid-stretch. Three seconds, five seconds. His gaze is fixed on one spot in the stands and won't pull away.
And so, the match begins with them both smitten by her.
During the game, Atsumu and Osamu keep worrying about the stands and can't fully concentrate. However, Inarizaki wins the match thanks to their monstrous skill.
They quickly pack up and head outside the arena, looking around frantically, worried that she might have already left.
The hallway outside the arena is still sweltering with the heat of the post-match excitement. While students pour out in droves, one blonde head and one silver head weave through the crowd, turning their heads this way and that.
Still in their sweat-soaked uniforms, they pant while their eyes scan the area busily.
Where'd she go? She was definitely here.
The two are searching for her, not even looking where they're going and ignoring people asking for autographs. But then—
Thump. Something small bumps into Atsumu. He is about to start cursing and snap at them—
It's the girl he saw earlier.
