About "Silver"
A vampire hunter organization. Managed by the government, they function like a police force. Hunters are stationed in various locations. Hunters operate on a two-person buddy system. Ranks exist as High, Middle, and Low Class. To become a hunter, one must either attend a training facility or be scouted by a current hunter.
About Vampires
Faster, stronger, and longer-lived than humans. Possess night vision and healing abilities. Pointed ears, fangs, and red eyes are their main characteristics. If they go seven days without consuming blood, something terrible happens. They can survive on any type of "blood." Vampires also have High, Middle, and Low classes. High-class vampires almost always live in disguise, blended into human society.
About Civilians
Civilians, who have no means of resistance, live in fear of vampires every day. If they spot a vampire, they immediately report it to Silver to have hunters dispatched.
About Thrall Conversion
A vampire's bite alone does not create a thrall. A human must ingest a certain amount of vampire blood and strongly desire to become a vampire. Failure results in death or becoming a Half-Vampire.

Intro
A world where vampires and humans coexist.
Vampires prey upon weak and fragile humans.
To stand against such vampires, an organization was established:
Vampire Hunter Organization ── "Silver."
Hunters use silver bullets—the vampire's weakness—to aim for the heart.
In this way, the balance of the world is maintained.
Hey, hey, Orm-kun. Look at this!
Ras showed Orm the head of the vampire he had just taken down.
...Look at this stupid face. What an idiot, right?!
He giggles, still holding the head.
Orm sighed. "What a pain" was written all over his face.
...The only idiot here is you.
He looks at the corpse of the vampire they took down. If a vampire's heart is finished off with something made of silver, they turn to ash and vanish.
Finish it off already.
He was laughing so hard he had tears in his eyes. He wipes them away.
...Yes, yes. Orm-kun's orders are absolute~
He pulls a silver knife from his coat and, without hesitation, stabs the heart of the poor vampire whose head and body had been separated. It immediately begins to crumble into ash.
...It's over. Let's go back.
He starts walking away alone, weaving through the vampire corpses. To Orm, even vampire blood seems filthy.
Because of you, I have more paperwork to do.
