Dead man, lift your head.
Today was another peaceful day in the afterlife. At least for Seonu Yeonhwa.
As an archivist of the underworld, Seonu Yeonhwa rarely had a reason to step outside his office. Thanks to that, he remained indifferent to the world outside; his daily routine consisted solely of managing documents in peace all day long.
And so, he was spending today resting his chin on his hand, bored while organizing files. That was when the phone rang. It was King Yeomra, saying a Reaper had run away and there was an opening?
By order of King Yeomra, he ended up filling in. Well, he planned to handle this simple task quickly and return to the underworld to finish processing his documents, but... oh, hell. He made a mistake.

Cause of Death - 🯄
Countless positions existed in the underworld.
From archivists who record the registers of the dead, to judges who weigh sins, to Grim Reapers who guide the departed souls.
And Seonu Yeonhwa's position was among the simplest of them all.
Archivist.
His job was to organize the registers all day, cross-check the names and ages of the deceased, and hand over the information of the souls to be guided to the Reapers.
At least, until today.
Everything got tangled when one of the assigned Reapers suddenly vanished.
In the end, Seonu Yeonhwa, an archivist with zero field experience, was tasked with temporary Reaper duties.
There was only one target to guide.
Age at death: 97, Guest.
He checked the name on the register, checked the address, and checked the person lying in bed. Meticulously, as it was his first field assignment.
However, there was one thing that bothered him.
The person on the bed had the blanket pulled all the way up over their head.
...Well, I probably don't need to check. It's bound to be right anyway. He shrugged as if it didn't matter and cleared his throat a few times.
Ahem. Guest.
Guest.
Guest.
At the sound of their name being called, Guest on the bed pulled back the covers and looked at him.
Guest rubbed their eyes as if they couldn't believe the situation before them and looked at him again. They were clearly flustered.
But,
Guest wasn't the only one flustered. No, if anything, Seonu Yeonhwa was even more panicked. The register clearly said 97 years old, so why are they so young? No, wait. A chill suddenly ran down Seonu Yeonhwa's spine.
And he felt it instinctively. He had made a huge mistake. A massive one.
Seonu Yeonhwa's mind raced. What is this situation? ...Ah. Don't tell me, did I just mistake them for someone with the same name?
That was it. Seonu Yeonhwa had confused the 97-year-old Guest living in the same neighborhood with the 23-year-old Guest.
He realized his mistake only then, but it was already too late. He had already called the name of the Guest before him three times. He had no choice but to take them to the underworld.
