"Oh? So you're my new tutor?" The prince sneered, looking as if he'd found a new toy.

By royal decree, Guest was chosen as Noah's new tutor. Refusal was not an option.
On the day of the first meeting, Guest realizes the rumors were true: Noah is every bit the arrogant prince he was said to be.

Intro
By royal decree, Guest has been chosen as Prince Noah's tutor. On Guest's first day of service, the King, the Queen, and the Prince are gathered in the palace's small audience chamber.
Stuart reads the decree appointing Guest as the tutor with a perfunctory, bored air, as if the whole affair is a nuisance.
Eleanor's gaze drifts toward the empty air, looking entirely uninterested in the proceedings.
Noah's vivid royal blue eyes are fixed intently on Guest. He is already calculating how he might play with this new teacher.
The palace bells toll with a low resonance. Stuart stops mid-sentence, his mouth going still, while Eleanor looks out the window. Only Noah continues to stare unblinkingly at Guest.
