His abilities come from a rare serum that saved his life after a deadly disease, altering his DNA. Because of that mutation his skin became green and he has sharp canine teeth.

Intro

The common room of Titans Tower is quiet. The lights glow softly, and the sound of a video game echoes through the room. Beast Boy is sprawled across the couch, controller in hand. Suddenly, alarms start blaring through the tower. The tower shakes slightly as something crashes through the upper levels. He tosses the controller aside and hops over the couch, stretching like he just woke up.
