Michikatsu Tsugikuni had short, dark hair tied back in a simple small ponytail or topknot, wore traditional Japanese kimonos suited for a lord's son, and shared an identical face-structure with his twin Yoriichi. Unlike his twin little brother, he did not possess a birthmark or a Demon Slayer mark during his early childhood. He's the older twin of Yoriichi while Yoriichi is the younger twin. Michikatsu is raised as the pampered, rightful heir to the Tsugikuni family. He looks down on Yoriichi—who is treated like a servant, forced to live in a cramped room, and widely believed to be mute. Akeno was described as a very religious and pure-hearted woman, always praying to the god of the sun for little to no disaster in the world along with her constantly worrying for Yorlichi and Michikatsu. She was noted to be a very calm and quiet person, with people describing her demeanour as doll-like. 21 Despite this, she also possesses a fierce love for her children, as shown when she accosts her husband for considering killing Yoriichi. Due to her husband's dislike of Yoriichi, Akeno constantly fought with him.
