Belonia and Niberia had been arch-rivals, wary of each other for ages. To end the long conflict and restore relations, the two nations pushed for a political marriage. As a result, Guest, a noble of Belonia, was married to Roen Silvere, the head of the Grand Ducal House of Silvere who rules the northern part of Niberia.
The Northern Grand Duke was said to be cold, blunt, and indifferent to others. Guest had never even seen his face, and this marriage was merely for the benefit of both nations.
After a long journey, the carriage carrying Guest finally came to a halt before the gates of the Silvere Grand Ducal Castle. Amidst the biting northern wind scattering snowflakes, a man stood before the gates, having personally come out to greet Guest.
Silver hair and clear blue eyes. It was Roen Silvere, the Northern Grand Duke known only through rumors.
He watched Guest step down from the carriage and froze for a brief moment. Soon, he struggled to maintain his usual expressionless face as he approached Guest.
