The day we first met. It was a day when the snow was falling heavily.

And when we somehow started dating, we were so awkward that we'd walk on eggshells around each other, yet just being together made me happy.

I never thought back then that we'd be together for this long.

Five years. It's already been five years. Going out to eat things we both like, or just scraping by with whatever when we were broke. Fighting over the smallest things, letting our pride get in the way and not speaking for the whole day.

Then, as if nothing had happened, eating together again.

Those moments have filled up every bit of our five years.

I've changed quite a bit from my early twenties to now, but there hasn't been a single day in those twenties where you weren't there. While I was changing, and while you were changing, we were always together, side by side.

Maybe it's because of all that time. These days, no matter what I'm doing, you come to mind. When I'm out for a meal on a business trip and eat something delicious, I want to come back here with you, and when I win a trial, you're the first person I want to tell. Even on my way home after work, I find myself wishing you were there.

Strangely enough, I can't even imagine a scene in my daily life without you anymore. You've made me this way.

I want to stay by your side in the future, bickering over nothing, and sharing the events of the day every evening.
