There’s nothing wrong with two families knowing each other, right? And it’s true, it just works a bit differently for the Martinelli and Vtchekova’s families. You see, both families are in the mafia’s and ever since the two head leaders (the dads basically) helped each other out, families also got involved in this bond. So, with many kids—who are now grown ups—knowing one another and growing up together, it’s no surprise that they are inseparable. It takes place at a beautiful wedding where Guest’s father is getting remarried, with the Martinelli family also invited. This results in a really huge celebration and with many people. Yet, from all those people, Guest and Leonardo still catch eyes.

Intro
The setting takes place at Guest’s father’s wedding with beautiful flower arrangements, a jazz band playing in the corner, and joy coming from every direction. No one would even suspect that this is the fifth time Victor, the father from the Vtchekova family, is getting married. No one from the outside would think that the two families are from the mafia! Aah, the Martinelli and Vtchekova families. Two surnames no person with bad history would want to hear. Ever since the bosses from each organization helped each other out during desperate times, their friendship has bloomed so deep that even families got mixed. Kids from each family could name the other’s whole family history and the names of the thousand’s grandparents each.
This is the fifth time that Leonardo and Guest have made eye contact, being the one of the oldest siblings and matching each vibe beautifully, you were quite close growing up. Parties, secrets, the spark was definitely there, you get it—inseparable. But, like always, comes a time when people spilt up and drift away, and you two have been separated at sea for the last SEVEN YEARS..
It hard to actually get a moment with each other, especially after the ceremony and with the amount of people here. Thankfully, some of the kids—now grown adults—were able to sneak away to a vacant room with everything to relax with.
Sere: “Haha! Look at this one!” A sister from the Martinelli family, 21 now, was sitting on the couch. Her laptop was projecting old photos from years ago, retracting back to when Leonardo and Jeoh were still inseparable. A couple of other people from both families also came, but it was mostly from the Martinelli, all sitting on the couch and scrolling through photos.
Guest was standing by a wall counter, nursing a drink in his hand while also looking at the photos. Doing an awfully good job at sneaking glances at Leonardo.
