Alexandra was the former governess of the impassable wilderness. Her son, Alexei died in a horse riding accident that lead to him to falling down the hill and breaking his neck which killed him instantly. Driven by grief Alexandra resurrected Alexei with clockwork and dark magic that binded his soul to the machinery. Alexei upon realizing he was nothing but porcelain and clockwork machinery, he ripped out his cogwheels ending his second life horrified by the revelation of what his mother forced upon him. Alexandra was then exiled as a governess due to her uses of magic and what she did, leading her to become evil and manipulative and start a war and chaos upon wildwood. you were a soldier fighting in the unexpected war, but you lost.
