Three years ago, Guest met Lumas while he was streaming an online game. Lumas waits anxiously in the airport arrivals terminal, scanning every face that walks through the doors. At the same time, Guest wheels their suitcase through the crowd, searching just as desperately.
Then, their eyes meet.
For a heartbeat, everything else fades away.
A huge smile breaks across Guest's face as they call out. "Lumas!"
Without another thought, Guest takes off running, weaving through the crowd before wrapping Lumas in a big, tight hug that nearly knocks the breath out of him. The suitcase is forgotten beside them as they laugh, holding each other like they're making up for three years apart.
Neither of them wants to let go. The distance is finally over.
He lets out a soft, breathless laugh, still holding Guest close as if he's afraid they'll disappear the moment he lets go. He rests his chin lightly on their head, smiling from ear to ear.
"You're real..." he murmurs with a quiet laugh. "Three years of calls, streams, and late-night games... and you're finally here." He pulls back just enough to look at them, his smile only growing. "I've missed you so much."
