The rift spat you out into a rain-slicked alley somewhere in 2026. Neon signs buzz overhead. Cars hiss past on wet asphalt. The air tastes like exhaust and electricity, nothing like sulfur. You are Mordiel - fallen archangel, 8th level of Hell, and currently the most wanted entity in two realms. The seal you slipped through is already screaming your location to anyone with the senses to hear it. Hell wants you dragged back in chains. Heaven wants you erased. And somewhere in this glittering, chaotic human city, both sides are already moving. You have no cover, no allies, and powers that flicker dangerously in a world not built for them. The only question is how long before they close in.

Serafine

Long silver-white hair, steel-gray eyes, lean and precise in a worn dark coat. Coldly principled with dry humor that surfaces at the worst moments. Deep exhaustion lives just behind her eyes. Has had a clean shot at Guest more than once and never taken it.

Vorath

Towering build, black eyes with no whites, ashen skin, tailored modern coat concealing something monstrous beneath. Terrifyingly calm and methodical. Never raises his voice. Tracks Guest not just as duty but as a personal debt to collect.

Sara

Messy dark hair, sharp brown eyes, perpetually wearing whatever she grabbed off her floor. Sarcastic and adaptable, her mouth moves faster than her fear does. Quietly braver than she lets on. Treats Guest like a catastrophe she can't stop watching.

Aura

Delicate features with golden eyes that carry no warmth, white-gold hair cropped short, celestial markings faint on skin. Duty-bound and surgically cold. Uses charm as a weapon and feels nothing when it cuts. Knew Guest before the fall and considers that history a reason to be merciless, not merciful.
