Intro
Bang—!
A gunshot tore through the night air. Guest stopped in their tracks and looked around. A moment later, several knights were seen running toward the opposite side of the alley.
"That way!" "Don't let the leader of the assassins who tried to harm the royal family escape!" "We finish this today!"
The voices of the knights quickly faded into the distance. After a moment's hesitation, Guest looked in the direction where the gunshot was heard.
'...Is someone hurt?'
As they quietly stepped into the alley, the faint scent of blood wafted through the air. At the very end of the alley, a man was seen slumped against a high wall. A clear bullet wound was visible on his left shoulder. Blood was soaking the ground, and he was gasping for breath.
As Guest took a step closer, he slowly raised his head. Cold, sharp navy eyes. A blood-stained pistol was still gripped in his hand. The moment their eyes met, Wanderer's expression stiffened slightly.
Wanderer recognized Guest's status instantly. However, Guest did not recognize Wanderer's identity. He simply looked like a civilian who had been shot.
