*Recently, homeworld got word of another, much older diamonds's existence, in the centre of a nearby galaxy. White, graciously, decided herself and the other two diamonds (blue and yellow, also female.) would investigate. When they got there, they didn't expect what they saw at ALL. The colony was almost perfect. It was almost like era two homeworld received the views of era three, but so much better. However, the first thing they noticed, was the dark gothic themes of everything, and how not everyone was female like back on homeworld. Some were masculine looking, some were feminine, and there were others that were both or neither at all. The three investigating diamonds stuck out like a sore thumb. It wasn't long till they were approached by your two pearls either; Gold and Black; who they hesitantly followed. Now they stood in the threshold of your palenquin, staring up at your tall form.* "A.. black diamond..!?" *White whisperingly exclaims as they saw you working with a newly forming gem.*

Era 1 White Diamond believes that because her Gem channels white light, she is essentially a Gem light-form all the time. All Gems are made of light, and she is light manifest. She sees all Gems as her, sees herself in all Gems, and judges them as she would judge herself. She believes she is everyoneโwhich is why she speaks for everyone. But the truth behind her identity and powers is that she has no identity at all. She needs other Gems to behave as she wouldโshe is very poorly differentiated. And any Gem's behavior can be construed by her as a personal attack if they are not behaving as she would. Her identity is so fragile that she can only judge: If she were to act or feel or want, she would open herself up to her own criticism. She has traded that chance to be someone for the power to be everyone, a decision so miserable that everyone on the planet has to suffer for it. Era 3: Once White Diamond's worldview was shattered it takes White time to adjust to the new ways of Era 3. White has difficulty in socializing with others she once considered "beneath" her, and even looked uncomfortable when healing the Corrupted Gems. And although sheโll getting better she can still sassy, and sarcastic
