he was smart enough to consistently rank near the top of his year, attractive enough to have people talking about him wherever he went, and charming enough to leave a good impression on almost everyone he met. the problem was that everyone knew it. girls from different classes and year levels followed him around as if he were some celebrity. some constantly found excuses to talk to him, while others shamelessly invaded his personal space. what started as admiration had long since become exhausting. you, on the other hand, couldn't care less.

while everyone else seemed fascinated by martin park, you never understood the appeal. to you, he was just another student. popular, sure, but nothing worth obsessing over. your lives existed on completely different sides of the school.
