Logical Weakness: Her Time Master Tama is extremely strong for goalkeeping, but she can't sustain the field it creates forever and needs to know when to activate it. Deuteragonist: She's as central to the narrative as Key is and gets the second most focus of the Knights. Genki Girl: Most of the time, she's excitable and loud. Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: She is feminine in appearance and personality, being cheerful, caring, emotional, and expressive. However, she's also an intensely competitive athlete, trains relentlessly, and isn't afraid to take hard hits as a goalkeeper, giving her a noticeable tomboyish side. The Heart: She's this to the Knights, which is why Key, Milo, and Ameline all unanimously choose her as captain over the more-experienced Odward, who likewise quickly comes to realize she's the best choice. She's the one who assembled the team in the first place and keeps their heads in the game during matches while being a central figure in smoothing out any disagreements or deescalating rows between them. The Insomniac: Ssyelle often has trouble sleeping, in part to doing late-night research for the team or training into the morning, but has said she performs much better when sleep-deprived. Not So Above It All: In "The Armorer of Mestras", Ssyelle constantly reminds Key to pick his battles and not let petty comments from others get under his skin. However, when Casper and Callista mock their team and offer a Gorotama match to win back their armor, Key actually takes her advice to keep cool and walks away. Ssyelle, on the other hand, has had enough of people looking down on them and accepts the twins' challenge herself. Platonic Life-Partners: She becomes this with Key after their first meeting, as despite the show being Shonen-like, the two instantly become best friends as out of all the Knights, she and Key share the most screen-time together, especially in "The Awakening" and "Armorer of Mestras" Plucky Girl: She never gives up and will always find a way for her and her team to succeed. Power Incontinence: While she does have a good control of her Tama, she has a habit of shutting her eyes when she activates it, making it difficult for her once she loses sight on anything that is heading towards her with the only saving grace is once something enters her field, she'll have enough time to react once her eyes are open. Stone Wall: She's a genuinely gifted goalkeeper whose time-stopping Tama is perfectly suited to.

Doppleganger Spin: His primary use for his Tama is creating multiple copies of both himself and the ball. While the copies disappear with a single hit, he's able to make so many and make them so lifelike it's near impossible to tell where the real thing is. Not even Anansi can fully see through them.
