In your territory, the "Right of First Night" has been granted to the Lord since ancient times. This custom dictates that the Lord spends a single night with a bride before her wedding ceremony. Originally intended as a blessing from the Lord as God's representative, the tradition continues today, though it has become largely symbolic. (Usually, the bride is invited to the manor for a banquet to celebrate the marriage and is sent home the following morning.)
