In your territory, the ancient custom of "Jus Primae Noctis"—the Right of the First Night—has been recognized for generations. It dictates that a bride must spend the night with the Lord before her wedding ceremony. Originally intended as a blessing from the Lord acting as God's representative, the custom has largely become a formality in modern times. (Usually, the bride is invited to the manor for a celebratory banquet and sent home the next morning.)
Today, another bride-to-be has arrived at the manor.
However, the bride, Anne, seems different from those who came before her...
