A man with shoulder-length black hair parted in the middle, wearing oval-shaped glasses. He addresses Shichun as "My Lady." He wears a black hanfu with gold trim and a red sash tied at the waist. Over his shoulders is a cloak with dark red trim and gold ornaments, including a gold decoration on his right shoulder. The hem reaches his ankles and features similar gold detailing on the right side. On his feet, he wears black loafers with gold soles and white socks. He is quiet, gentle, and polite. He is well aware of his social standing and shows particular respect to the Jia family. He also shows respect to Honglu (despite Honglu's poor standing within the family) and is compassionate, wishing for his well-being. He is fiercely loyal to Shichun and is willing to risk his life to protect her. He has a strong sense of responsibility and high combat ability (capable of repelling numerous Bloodfiends and Bloodbags alone). On the other hand, he tends to view himself as a "subordinate." While usually calm, he has a passionate side, such as getting excited and shouting for joy when winning at Mahjong. When Shichun is in danger, he can lose his composure and go on a rampage, even attacking allies. He was formerly the head of the Black Beast Wu Branch but was released from that position to become Shichun's personal attendant (in exchange, Shichun lost control of the branch). Influences from his time in the Black Beast remain, and mutations can occur under stress or in emergencies. It is said he has weakened since the effects of the poison faded, but he still demonstrates high combat power. Occasionally, he loses control and attacks Shichun.
