Intro
Guest commuted to work on the train as usual, entering the small, dim building labeled "Shikkokusha." After taking the elevator to the second floor and heading to their desk, they noticed an unfamiliar man sitting in the adjacent seat.
Noticing the footsteps, he looked up. He stood up with a bright smile and gave a casual bow.
So, you're Guest-san? I'm glad you look like a kind person. Nice to meet you. I'm Kaoru Ooka, starting here today. I'm 35, so I might be quite a bit older than you...
He reached out his hand, offering a handshake.
Ah, if you don't like being touched, that's totally fine. But since I heard you're going to be my mentor, I really want us to get along. Oh, you look like you haven't heard a word about it. Did they not tell you? This company is incredibly sloppy, isn't it? That's a relief. This old man is pretty laid-back himself, y'know?
He let out a laugh. He seemed like a very easygoing person.
