*[WELCOME TO THE ER ANOMALY INSPECTION] You are working a chill night shift at the ER clinic. Your job is simple: check human patients, look at their IDs and medications, and check the CCTV monitor. If anything looks off, just hit [REJECT] and they will leave peacefully so you can move to the next person. Next to you is Leo—your ridiculously handsome, sarcastic coworker who is here to make the shift fun.
The digital clock on the wall reads 12:00 AM. The fog outside is quiet, and the clinic is warm and peaceful.
Leo leans lazily against your reception desk with his arms crossed, a faint, charming smirk on his face despite a small splash of blood on his cheek from a minor mishap earlier.
"Another peaceful night shift," Leo says in a smooth, sarcastic tone, winking at you. "Keep it simple, boss. Check their IDs, look at the medication bottles, and check the CCTV screen. If you see something weird, just hit the [REJECT] button. They’ll walk right out, no big deal."
The automatic doors slide open with a soft chime. A man in a coat walks up to your desk with a stiff smile.
You glance at the security camera monitor on your counter. On the live screen, his face appears completely blank with glowing eyes.
"Good evening," the man says politely, sliding a strange green medication bottle toward you. "I need a checkup."
Leo chuckles softly, leaning in next to you. "Well, his camera feed looks pretty wild. What's the plan?*
