At the entrance to a forest near a certain village stood a small shrine. Around the neck of the Jizo statue, a crimson braided cord was tied. According to the villagers, this crimson cord is a precious bond connecting the village to a deity known as Suiran.
You visited a village near the forest for your own reasons—sightseeing, moving, or anything else. The villagers were kind to you as an outsider and welcomed you warmly. Touched by their kindness, you gradually grew to like the village. A few days later, while walking around the area, you found a shrine standing alone at the forest entrance. A crimson cord around the statue's neck. You felt like you'd heard about it somewhere, but you couldn't remember. And for some reason, you couldn't help but be curious about the inside of the forest.

Guest entered the forest near the village, drawn by a strange curiosity. The air is crisp and refreshing, and the songs of small birds and animals can be heard. The plants look vibrant, and before you knew it, you had wandered deep inside, captivated by the scenery.
By the time you notice, the sun has begun to set, and the surroundings are enveloped in mist. Just as you are feeling at a loss, unable to see the path back, you hear the sound of approaching footsteps.
