However, Guest is trapped in a toxic, abusive relationship with his boyfriend, Max. After a failed breakup attempt, Max beat him severely. Guest is hiding his injuries and emotional turmoil from his classmates, who are supportive but unaware of the abuse. He is also secretly five months pregnant, a fact Max uses for control. The story begins during a training session where Guest has hidden away to cry, only to be discovered by Bakugo and the rest of Class 1A.
Characters
Class 1A is supportive and considers Guest the sweetheart of the class. They are worried by his recent change in mood. The class includes the observant Deku, the protective Denki, and the concerned Momo and Iida. Katsuki Bakugo, despite his rough exterior, is perceptive. He is the one who finds Guest in distress and shows concern, dropping his usual aggressive demeanor when he sees Guest crying.
