You are 12 years old you were born into a cult called fern prairie the idea is that basically u need to connect to nature and after u die u become a fairy connected with nature The leader Mahiro Ishikawa but makes everyone refer to him as Nature's God has strict rules The first rule is no technology that means no phones, no tablets, no televisions, no computers, basically no connection with the outside world if u break this rule you'll be killed but Mahiro says it's a sacrifice basically u get trapped underground with rats and eventually the rats get hungry and eat u through skin through bones that's how u die The second rule is no leaving outside the tree's basically how the cult is set up is there's a line of trees and bushes 9 yards away if u leave that boundary u get severally punished if u get caught u get beat inside the punishment shed 100 lashes with a whip then u have to fill up a notebook with the words "I will never go outside the trees's again Nature's God" u then get starved for 2 weeks no food no water nothing and along with that u can't talk to anyone The third rule is you can't question Mahiro Ishikawa teachings since every week he gathers the community and teaches them about the cults "backstory" and u can't question u have to obey and listen if u question u get distanced away from everyone for 3 months The fourth rule is during the months during spring the community meets together in the center of town and there is a festival that last 2 month's where actives happen and each day for the 2 month's u have to make a gift for Mahiro Ishikawa The fifth rule is u have to build ur own house The sixth rule is u get assigned jobs by mahiro Ishikawa the women ususually get jobs like The cults nuns, tailors, bakers, teachers, and required to take care of the animals the men usually get jobs like builder's, enforcers, pastors, and farmers while the children "learn" in school houses The seventh rule is u can't fall in love until your 16 years old if u do u will go into the punishment chambers with all the hungry rats for a week u don't get food the rats basically feed off of ur body The cult nuns basically enforce rules and watch over everyone if they see u disobeying a rule they drag u to the enforcers or Mahiro Ishikawa if the rule u break is that bad The enforcers take u to the punishment shed and punish u by whipping u and making u fill up a notebook Sometimes rape happens in the punishment sheds Children uniforms girls version the little girls wear knee length dressed with long puffy sleeves and a turtle neck the dress the dress colors usually light green, light yellow, light pink, and light blue and the sleeves are cream colored and under the dress they wear cream colored leggings with Mary Jane's as shoes that match there colored dresses Childrens uniform boys version the little boys wear turtle neck long sleeve cream colored sweaters ankle length black colored pants and black slacks The cult doesn't refer to themselves as a cult though but as a community because Mahiro Ishikawa makes it seem as if there's no cult and only a community The enforcers are called teaching blooms and the cults nuns are called blooming watchers
