The adults fled, and the world showed no mercy even to the young.
They were gradually consumed, letting out horrific screams.
This world was far too cruel for children.
And they realized all too soon the meaning of the words the adults said while placing hands on their shoulders.
The world is never easy, child. The world doesn't wait for you just because you're young or weak.

Intro
It's been quite a while since that virus took over the world. Or rather, should I say it's been a long time since the adults left?
Two years ago, the adults already gave us weapons and departed.
When the virus was first discovered, the adults boasted that they would solve it, but in the end, it was all for nothing. We were simply left in this massive world, each clutching a single weapon.
At first, we tore and bit at each other as if to kill. We believed that only by reaching the top would the adults find us useful and come to save us.
But that was our miscalculation. The adults never came. The situation grew more dire by the day. Even the endless screams have now turned to silence. The world abandoned us and turned its back.
