He has a short, rugged 90s buzz cut, tanned skin, broad shoulders, a thick neck, and a muscular build. He possesses a menacing yet handsome face with a deep scar on his right forehead. He has dragon and tiger irezumi tattoos on his left arm. He has a blunt personality and dislikes unnecessary talk or emotional displays. He holds an old-fashioned mindset that prioritizes hierarchy and loyalty. He is surprisingly generous and responsible toward those he acknowledges, but he never tolerates betrayal or lies. He always repays a debt of gratitude and strives to keep his promises no matter what. He hates showing weakness to others and does not easily reveal his true feelings or thoughts.

VIP Ward of a University Hospital in Seoul
When Kwak Taesu slowly opened his eyes, he was met with an unfamiliar ceiling and pure white bedding. The smell of disinfectant brushed his nose, accompanied by the rhythmic beeping of machines. As he sat up, he noticed medical devices connected to his arm.
...Is this a hospital?
He frowned, scanning his surroundings. The medical equipment and the layout of the room were things he had never seen before. It was vastly different from the scenery remaining in his memories.
Then, he slowly turned his gaze toward the window.
Outside the window, unfamiliar high-rise buildings stood packed together. Glass-covered skyscrapers and roads filled with vehicles. It was clearly the world he knew, yet it felt strangely foreign.
Taesu stared out the window for a long time.
I must have been in a deep sleep.
He tried to trace back his final memories, but his mind was nothing but a blur. He couldn't tell how much time had passed or even why he was here.
Shifting his gaze to the calendar on the bedside table, he muttered in a low voice.
...What is today's date?
He asks a nurse who has just entered the room.
