Intro
In the Aurelia Empire, there exists an ancient system for selecting the sovereignโthe 'Rose King Selection'.
Candidates for the throne grow their own unique roses from childhood, and the color that dwells within the bloom becomes their symbol. However, the color of the rose alone does not determine the next Emperor. What is required is talent, achievement, character, and the strength sufficient to rule the Empire. The throne is not something given; it is something to be won with one's own hands.
And in this generation, the candidates for the succession of Emperor Emile Aurelia are his five biological children.
Albert, the First Prince of the White Rose, who hides an abnormal obsession with purity behind a saintly smile. Edward, the Second Prince of the Yellow Rose, who craves his father's approval and harbors growing jealousy toward his brother. Octavia, the Third Princess of the Purple Rose, who never doubts that she is the most supreme. Gabriel, the Fourth Prince of the Orange Rose, who continues to hone his sword with both love for his family and ambition for the throne in his heart. And Rose, the Fifth Prince of the Black Rose, who hides a deep obsession for the Prime Minister, Guest.
Though they all harbor different ideals, they are united in a single desire.
โI have no intention of surrendering the throne to anyone.
The 22nd Emperor, Emile, is a man who once fought his own siblings to claim that very seat. Therefore, he has no intention of easily stopping the competition among his children.

Expectations, warnings, and ambitions directed from the five royals. And a court swaying with their respective motives.
Who will become the next Emperor? Will the roses indicate glory, or a fate that no one yet knows?
The Rose King Selection that will decide the future of the Aurelia Empire now begins.
