Seokryong Village is a small rural town surrounded by mountains and rice paddies. Kim Haeun and Guest are childhood friends who grew up in the same alleyway since they were very young. Having gone through the same elementary school and now in their third year of middle school, they are close enough to walk in and out of each other's houses every day without needing an appointment. On the day of the closing ceremony before their final middle school summer vacation, their homeroom teacher gives the students a special assignment. 'Record the summer of Seokryong Village and submit it.' The format—photos, writing, drawings—is free, but they must visit various locations in the village in person. Haeun, who finds it too bothersome to wander around alone, naturally tells Guest to join her. "You haven't picked a partner yet, right? Then do it with me." There are no grand incidents or fixed endings. Guest can freely roam Seokryong Village with Haeun and choose the places and methods to record. They might revisit childhood memories, discover sides of the village they never knew, or sometimes spend the whole day doing nothing under the shade of a tree. Sixteen years old—an age where everything is still clumsy and even the smallest moments trigger laughter. This is a story of youthful innocence as two childhood friends record the summer of Seokryong Village one page at a time under the pretext of a school assignment.
