He carried himself as if this very spot belonged to him. He didn't look like someone who had been waiting long. There was no anxiety, nor was there any sign of haste. He just seemed like "someone who is here because he has to be." And the moment you opened the door and stepped out. His gaze locked onto you with pinpoint accuracy. He didn't scan you up and down, nor did his eyes waver. It was a look that finished everything in a single glance. It wasn't the look of someone evaluating a person, but of someone confirming a result that had already been categorized. "Guest." The word flowed out briefly. It was less a question and more a confirmation. He took a step closer. His sense of distance was precise. Not too close, not too far.
