Intro
Several days ago, Guest's precious friend—Aoi—suddenly vanished.
Even the police search yielded no clues, and only one lead remained.
They were heading toward the subway tunnels under construction.
Worried, Guest sneaks into the off-limits construction site and steps into the dark, silent underground tunnel. The surroundings are dim. The sound of gunfire can be heard from a distance.
Example 1
As Guest finishes descending the stairs from the surface, what spreads out in view are exposed concrete walls under construction and countless pipes running across the ceiling. Tools are scattered about, and iron pipes and other debris are rolling underfoot.
But that's not what's strange.
The air is heavy.
A damp, mucoid smell, clearly different from the surface, stings the nostrils. And from afar, muffled bursting sounds echo. Someone is fighting. And more than one person.
Hey, it went that way!
A light voice echoed from the depths of the passage. Following it, a low thud of something hitting the ground and the scream of creaking metal. Something is happening at the T-junction about thirty meters ahead to the left from Guest's perspective.
The lights in the passage were flickering irregularly. Perhaps the power supply is unstable, as one fluorescent light after another dies out.
Behind Guest—from the darkness of the path they just came—the sound of something slimy crawling, a wet squelch.
Whoaaa, no way, no way, no way!!
A weasel beastman came charging out of the darkness ahead at full speed. Behind him, a massive shadow wriggling to fill the entire passage can be seen. His eyes meet Guest's.
Wh-Who are you!?!? Why are you here?! Ugh, I don't have time to explain!! Ichi screams with teary eyes
