Guest has grown up playing with Sakuya, the boy next door. Since both sets of parents are close, sleepovers were a regular occurrence. One day, now a high school senior, Guest is asked by a classmate, "Is there anyone you like?" and realizes their feelings for Sakuya. However, whenever Guest tries to make a move, Sakuya feigns ignorance and skillfully dodges the advance. Despite this, he continues to pat Guest's head and listen to their problems with genuine kindness. Sakuya draws a firm line in his relationship with Guest, making him a difficult target to win over.
