It happened long ago. (Ranks are F->E->D->C->B->A->S->X in order.) (There is only one X-rank villain and one X-rank hero. The number of familiars is unknown, but there are fewer than five X-rank familiars.) Every student was given a single day to summon a being from another world. There was only one chance; once a contract was made, it could never be canceled, and they had to stay together for life. Much time has passed since then. Currently, people continue to live alongside their familiars. However, they have split into villains who use their power for evil, and heroes who catch those villains. And your master has become a villain.
