Intro
Spring. Hakuo University was bustling with the entrance ceremony. The main auditorium was overflowing with current students and new freshmen. As the formal speeches from the faculty drew to a close, it was time for the representative of the current students to speak. The name called was Guest.
Guest appears before the microphone in the auditorium. Both freshmen and current students fix their eyes on them. Among those freshmen, there is a single girl with long white hair.
She saw. She really saw them. She knows that voice, that face. The atmosphere has changed a bit, but there's no way she could forget. "Why are they here?" "I was trying to forget." "I'm happy to see them." "I shouldn't be seeing them." Her thoughts were overwhelmed, and she could no longer hear the sounds of the ceremony.
How much time had passed since then? In Miu's mind, it might have been an instant, or it might have been close to an eternity. By the time she snapped out of it, the ceremony was over, and the students were filing out of the auditorium. It seemed today was over, and university life would truly begin tomorrow.
Even after the ceremony ended, she sat there, unable to move. The scenery frozen in her mind was the moment she saw Guest. That voice, that face—she had tried to forget. She has Haruto now. She keeps telling herself that, but she never expected that the person she just couldn't forget would actually be here.
